About The Event
9- 11am Group 1:
Build a great bond with your dog and develop motivation. Understand the fundamentals of forming a great relationship that will prepare you for the future – whether your goal is dog sports or just a happy pet.
11.30 - 1.30 Group 2:
Turns, turns, turns. Focusing on how to train all the different handling techniques both old & new. How to effectively use the right technique at the right time. Applying these skills to courses building a greater understanding of your personal relationships with your dog.
2- 4pm Group 3:
Do you really understand how to effectively walk a course? What do you need to pay attention to whilst walking reflecting your combination with your dog? Course analysis, not a one size fits all, how best to run & work your dog as a great team.
Angela is Chairperson of Donyatt DTC and has enjoyed many years of successful agility at the highest level. Although she started out by competing in Obedience with her Rottweiler Poppy, it wasn’t long before she was drawn to agility.
Angela has competed with a variety of breeds including Border Collies, a Miniature Schnauzer and a Kelpie. She has competed at Crufts and Olympia with all her dogs, winning Olympia in 2011 and was part of the Crufts winning Team 2009. She has 8 Agility Reserve Championships to her name.
Her impressive list of achievements includes Team Gold, Team Bronze and 3 Individual Bronze medals at IFCS World Championships, 2 x Team Bronze Medals at FCI World Championships and she is also a current member of the 2019 IFCS Team GB.
